Our Group has very close ties with the original members of the Unit. All our living-historians are 'League-of-Friends' members of the Veterans Association and regularly attend the events and meetings of the Association. Several key posts on the Veterans Association Committee are held by members of the Living History unit.
The Veterans have presented the Unit with a Standard in honour of continuing their memories. This standard is paraded by the Unit on behalf of the Veterans.
