Welcome to the website of the 1st (Airborne) Reconnaissance Squadron of the World War Two Living History Association.

The group portrays 'Recce' in its time as a member of the 1st Airborne Division during Operation Market Garden in Arnhem, Holland.

In our portrayal of the Recce Sqn, we aim for the very highest standards of appearance, behaviour and authenticity: nothing less will do.

We carry out shows and displays as part of the WW2 LHA for many organisations including English Heritage, National Trust and Eventplan Ltd. Further to this, and most importantly, we are all League of Friends members of the Veterans Association and attend services and ceremonies for these Gentlemen.
